I want to thank everyone who made our annual Christmas Day lunch such a wonderful success.
We served Christmas meals to countless numbers of homeless and needy Sydneysiders. In fact, we served more meals than we usually do. These were given to people in Ashfield and from our food vans at various locations across the city.
Indeed, last night at our food van in the city the queues were huge and we ran out of gift vouchers to give people. We simply didn’t expect the numbers.
